Located in Glendale, Arizona, Terros Health- Maverick House is an alcohol and drug rehab sober living home that provides treatment for individuals struggling with addiction. They are located at the intersection of West Montebello and 51st Avenue. You can enroll with our residential treatment services at our Olive Health Center.Enrollment includes a screening & assessment that helps determine your need.

CBT is a technique used to help individuals replace maladaptive, symptomatic behaviors with more appropriate ones utilizing cognitive, emotional, or behavioral interventions. Exposure therapy is a type of CBT used to treat anxiety disorder individuals by gradually introducing the patient to the feared object, activity, or situation in a safe and controlled environment. This type of therapy involves the use of a variety of therapeutic techniques to help addicts recover from past traumas that might have triggered their substance abuse.

No single treatment works for all addicts; therefore, the goal of treatment and therapy should be to find what works best for each individual. Some people requiring addiction treatment may only need a few weeks of inpatient care. Tolerance and withdrawal levels vary from person to person and thus affect the intensity of the treatment needed. Our counselors have small caseloads and provide very personalized attention and care. Our support staff are trained behavioral health technicians and peers, individuals with lived experience in recovery.

Group Therapy

Each resident is paired with a primary counselor.Our counselors have small caseloads and provide very personalized attention and care. Substance abuse is treated with a combination of physical and mental treatments. Patients detox and follow up with therapies that target the underlying cause of the addiction. Substance abuse is a severe problem that can be successfully treated with a variety of therapies. Maverick House treatment uses a combination of therapies along with other resources to overcome substance abuse. SOP is designed for patients who have completed IOP or who experienced a relapse.

Residential Treatment Centers

We start with an assessment, then work with you on a plan for treatment. Our outpatient services allow patients to learn how to stay sober in a real-life setting. We use proven treatment methods centered in group therapy that provides support, skill-building and healing in a community setting. Some individuals may benefit from individual counseling in addition to other services; your treatment plan is uniquely designed to meet your needs.

We are often able to locate AHCCCS enrollment or grant funding that covers your cost of treatment. Our Health Centers accept a wide range of insurance including AHCCCS, Medicaid, and Medicare. Contingent rewards (rewards that are given based on behaviors like attending appointments or refraining from substance use) can be beneficial for people recovering from addiction. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a fairly new treatment modality used with patients diagnosed as suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or drug and alcohol cravings.
